The area
Around Levi, Finland
Levi sits at the foot of its own fell, 531 metres above sea level, with 44 slopes and 26 lifts above the village. Svingipolku 5 sits just far enough out that you get the quiet, and close enough that you can walk or ride into the action.
On the slopes
Lift Six on the North-East slopes is the nearest, about 1.2 km away, followed by Taalo at 1.3 km and Jakkalalaki at 1.7 km. The winter ski bus stops 200 m from the door and runs into the village every 30 minutes. Beginners and small skiers have Leevilandia, with covered carpet lifts, a snow park and its own little theme park; the more confident can take the Gondola2000 to the summit.
Cross-country and snowmobile
A lit cross-country trail passes about 600 m from the house and a snowmobile trail about 700 m. Levi has 230 km of ski tracks in winter and 886 km of snowmobile route, plus 20 km of winter hiking and biking trails.
Summer
Golf Club Levi and the clubhouse restaurant Draivi sit roughly 1.7 km away. From the top station the 600 m Peak Trail loops around the fell, and the Ice Age Trail circles Levi on foot from the same lift. There are 60 km of summer hiking trails, and the biking is taken seriously: MTB and downhill bike parks on the fell, with fatbike and e-bike rentals in the village, all in the long evenings under the midnight sun.

Levi Huskypark is 7 km out and Levi Water World about 6 km. Kittilä airport is about 20 minutes away and Kittilä church, a wooden landmark from the 1700s, about 15 km.

Kittilä airport is about 15 km away, some 20 minutes by car. Rovaniemi is 155 km north, a little over two hours.
